_Tessa Sinclair Scott grew up in New Zealand where she graduated with a
Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and literature at the University of
Canterbury before training and working for six years as a specialist
art educator. Following a move to Australia to pursue further studies in
design and illustration she gathered experience as an arts marketing
and exhibition
designer in a large cultural institution before relocating to Hamburg,
Germany in 2006.
Alongside a varied portfolio of successful design and education projects, Sinclair Scott has an MA in Creative Writing which she employs to good effect as an occasional translator and English for communications professionals coach – she speaks outstanding English, excellent German and muddles along in French. Sinclair Scott writes short stories and prose as well as producing the occasional insight into life as an integrated foreigner in North Germany.
